MEDICAL ROTATION AND OTHER VISITING STUDENTS SUMMER ACCOMMODATIONS 2008
Although the Med/Dent Residence Hall will not be available for medical rotation students or any other short-term housing as of May 1, 2008, medical co-op students and other visiting students still have an opportunity for temporary housing on campus during the summer of 2008. West and Wellness, residence halls adjacent to each other on the Belknap Campus, will be open for visiting summer students from May 11, 2008- August 5, 2008 at the rate of $23.00/day. (Note: We can make no exceptions to these inclusive dates.) West and Wellness Halls are traditional residence halls that will house students between the ages of 18 and 22 during the summer. They are less than 3 miles from the Health Sciences Campus to which one can easily drive or take public transportation via TARC, Louisville’s bus system. After August 5, 2008, visiting students will need to secure temporary housing on their own, as all university residence halls will be devoted to full-time students by that date.

West/Wellness Halls is located at 2108 Unity Place, Louisville KY 40208.
Room type: Private/single residence hall rooms with extra long twin beds. You will need to provide your own linens.
Amenities: Rooms include telephone with local service, basic cable TV, and high speed Internet connections.
Room Rate and Directions for Sending Payment
The room rate is $23.00 per day and must be prepaidin full at least two weeks prior to your arrival. Partial payments will not be accepted . Make checks payable to the University of Louisville.
The visiting student form, listed below, must be completed and returned to our office before housing can be processed. Upon receipt of the form, Housing will e-mail you indicating the total amount due. Please forward your check, a copy of your printed form, and your departmental or internship letter to:

Cancellation: Should your plans change and you no longer need housing, email JanUpton@louisville.edu as soon as possible to cancel, as rooms are in high demand.
