Early Arrival Request

The residence halls open on August 21st for arrival. However, some students may need to arrive earlier for school-related reasons. We do our best to accommodate these special requests.

Early arrival begins August 12th and individual requests for earlier dates cannot be approved. Students will receive electronic confirmation that their request has been received. Students applying after July 31st will be approved on a case-by-case basis. The cost for early arrival is $17.00 per night and will be applied to student accounts. Students with programs paying for their early arrival fee such as band or honors need not register here; instead, they should contact the department requiring their early arrival.

Please note that depending on availability, it is possible that we will not be able to accommodate your request or that you may be assigned to a temporary room during your early arrival until your regular fall room is available.
Students who arrive without making prior arrangements will not be permitted to check into the building for at least 24 hours, pending room availability.

All residents approved for early check in will be billed $17.00 per day for each day prior to August 20th.
